Investigation: Swansboro Private Residence (Swansboro, NC)
Date: June 14th, 2008
History: The house is approximately 10 years old. It is located in an older area of Swansboro,
where the oldest still standing house in Onslow County is located. The home owners have lived in
the house for about 3 years.
Claims: The home owners claim to have a general feeling of uneasiness since they have moved
in. They have two children who have a very hard time sleeping in their bedroom. The oldest (3yrs)
claims to see a man with pink eyes and white skin in her room. The childs description has
remained consistent with each experience. The activity seems to happen regularly between 1 and
2 am. The current homeowners claim that the previous homeowners used the same bedroom for
their children and experienced the same problem at the same time of the night. One of the
residents also experienced another bedroom door open by itself in the middle of the night.
Personal Experiences (Investigators): Eric, Jessica, Sally and Amy(Guest Investigator)
attended the investigation. We investigated two of the bedrooms: The kids room and a guest
room (in which the doors opend) All was quiet until about 12:30am Around that time, the KII meter
began to spike randomly. At the same time, the atmosphere seemed to become more uneasy.
Sally felt tugs on her shirt, and Eric experienced a heaviness and trouble breathing which forced
him to have to leave the room. There were taps and scratches on the screen window. Also, the
two-way radio's went off on their own while being turned off. Around 2:30am the activity seemed to
die down significantly.

1. In this clip you'll be hearing sally ask the question do you like the family that lives here now, shortly after
if you listen closely you'll hear what sounds like a faint breath FBREATH EVP
2.In this one you'll hear Sally saying something about the greatest movie ever and than shortly afterwards
you'll hear a grunt. This didn't come from anyone in the room and it sounds like a man, and there were no
men in the room at this time.... GRUNT EVP
3. In this one you'll hear a distinct sound of a kid whining, the thing is at this time the kids where both
asleep and in a room on the other side of the house, shortly after hearing this you'll here where the radio
goes off by it's self. KID EVP
Conclusion: After a review of all the evidence and a mixture of all the experiences we can not
say the place is haunted without further investigating to be done. But we can say that we there
may be paranormal things going on not sure as of yet.... feel free to drop us your inputs and
