Investigation: RETURN To Southwest Private Residence (Jacksonville, NC 28540)
Date: August 9th, 2008
History: The house was built in 1985 by a retired military couple. The husband and wife were
unable to have children, much to their disappointment. They lived in the house untill the husband
sadly passed away, due to cancer, in 2001, and the wife died, also from cancer, in 2004. After
their deaths the house remained vacant until the current homeowners bought the house in July of
2007.
Claims: Since the family's move in, they have had a regular feeling of not being alone. Their
daughter has not been able to sleep in the nursery, although doesn't seem to have a problem
sleeping in other rooms. While in the bedroom, there seems to be someone standing in the
doorway watching them. There has also been a woman seen from outside standing in the front
windo. There has never been a threatening feeling, but just a feeling of someone making their
presense known. Since the last investigation there has been claims of the lights dimming on
request and blinds moving without explanation.
Personal Experiences (Investigators): Jessica, Sally, Shelli, Nikki, and Henry were all
present on this case. In the room where the lights dimmed, Jessica, Shelli and Nikki experienced
the feelings and the fleeting glance of what seemed to be a little girl by the door. Nikki
experienced heavy feelings. Cold spots were felt by all 3, and Henry was overcomed and
experienced a heavy feeling.

Conclusion: There definitefly seems to be some sort of paranormal activity going on in this
home. We have had personal experiences and have been able to catch numerous EVPs to back
up these experiences over the course of 2 investigations. feel free to drop us your inputs and
