Investigation: Richlands Private Residence, NC
Date: June 6th, 2009
History: Although the house is not very old, it sits on a plot of old farm land. We couldn't trace
back too far but we didn't find any notable traumatic events or anything necessarily relevent to the
case.
Claims: The home owners have been having paranormal experiences since the birth of their
child. About a year ago. The activity has followed them to numerous locations and had one of the
home owners pretty frightened. They have told us about various things happening, such as cold
spots, doors opening and closing themselves, furniture moving, heavy footsteps and feelings of
being watched.
Personal Experiences (Investigators): We first went to the back room, which is where
the activity was reported to be the most intense. While using the shack hack, we caught "Are you
F-cking ready, you B-tch" in a male voice. The air was definitely heavier in there, although it
seemed to lighten after a little while of being there. Next Amy conducted an EVP session in the
living room. After that Amy and the home owners conducted another shack hack session in the
master bedroom while Jess, Sally, and Selena conducted an EVP session in the back room.
Evidence:
Conclusion: Amy was able to pick up on a lot of information involving this investigation. By the
end of the night, though, things did seem to be more quiet. Also the home owner seemed to be
calmer. It seems as though the activity was attached to the family, rather than the house, but didn't
seem threatening. We hope that by investigating, we were able to ease the fears of the clients.
