"Mike is head of the SEPIA© office based in New York and
the Tri State Area/ Lead Investigator. Mike grew up in the
Hudson Valley in New York, surrounded by stories of headless
horsemen and white ladies. He developed a healthy curiosity
for the unknown early on. That curiosity combined with his
sense of wonder and generous cynicism make for an excellent
investigator. Later he moved down to North Carolina for some
time and has now moved back to New York. He has taken on
investigations up and down the east coast checking out
renowned locations like the Hudson River Psychiatric Center
and the Battleship North Carolina."
Co-founder of S.E.P.I.A ©/Lead Investigator. What to say? I was raised in PA
& NC, I grew up a happy child who loved animals- especially horses. I rode for
many years(still do). I was also obsessed with scary movies and ghosts. I
could never get enough of scary stories, movies, tours, "Haunted" houses and
anything supernatural. I have always been some what sensitive to changes in
energy around me. I had quite a few paranormal experiences as a child which
I think is partly due to being more sensitive to it. Honestly, I was petrified of it-
because all I had been exposed to was the "scary" malevolent aspect of
ghosts & spirits that are shown in media. It wasn't until i became an adult that
I realized that a haunting isn't necessarily a bad thing. As an adult I loved to
gain as much knowledge about the paranormal as I could. It wasn't until the
show "Ghost Hunters" came on that I realized that there were actually groups
of people that actively researched this subject all over the united states. Due
to work, kids, and a busy schedule, it took a little bit to find a paranormal group
around here that I could join. I found a group called CCPRG and my husband
and I joined. I absolutely loved it. I thought it might scare me on the first
investigation but it was almost like a drug. I couldn't get enough. Now, my
husband and I have decided to give it a shot at forming our own group in
hopes that we can gain as much research as possible. I hope I get the
opportunity to work with as many other paranormal groups as I can... the more
the better! I am married, have 2 beautiful kids, and work as a mail carrier for
the post office. I still love to ride horses (I have a thoroughbred), love to read, I
collect crystals/gemstones, love to do things that scare me, and love to spend
time with my kids. Now you know about me.
Co-founder of S.E.P.I.A.©/Lead Investigator What to say
about myself after you just had to read that long rant.... Hmmmm
well I'm a local to the Southeastern, NC. I have had the pleasure
to travel many places in my life so far south as New Orleans, to
as far North as Canada and West only as far as Vegas and
during these travels i have had many experiences with the
paranormal that I don't really talk about to much. I began
having experiences around age 8 to the present. (Not so much
now a days). I love to know and learn all I can about the
unknown and I am intrigued by religion and history. I'm a geek
by nature (or by birth as my wife would say) and a kid at heart
(My wife's 3rd child as she puts it). I'm a big New Jersey Devils
Hockey Fan and like fantasy books and movies. Have worked as
an extra in many a movies and TV shows based or filmed out of
Wilmington, NC and have met many famous people from it and
loved it. Anything else to be known about me will come out in
due time once you get to know me.... Oh and I'm a people
person with a slight sense of humor. OK A lot of humor..... Well
at least I think so...
Pennsylvania Consultant/Case Manager/ "Glorified
Equipment Cleaner" Ashley was born and raised in North
East Pennsylvania. She has had quite a few paranormal
experiences in her life, which leaves her extremely reluctant to
purposely investigate a location and be exposed to another
supernatural event. However, having lived her entire life in a
very (reportedly) haunted area of the northeast, she knows a lot
about the area and can assist in bringing us to potential
investigations.
Investigator. You wanna know about me?? I grew up all
over, thanx to the military...CA, NY, NJ, PA, and NC. I've
always been the weird one...intrigued by odd things and
captivated by anything out of the ordinary. I'm a horror movie
freak and have always been interested in the paranormal. I
work to pay the bills and in my free time I play bass guitar for
a local metal band called Soulbind and Investigate the
paranormal.
Investigator/Penn Area. More to be unveiled later.
Investigator In Training. I was born in New York and was
moved to North Carolina by the military.I have been
interested in the supernatural since I was five years old. I
have had various experiences with the paranormal
throughout life. I am outgoing, funny, sarcastic at times...
sort of like a 33 year old kid, but I am mature when the
situation calls for it. I live life to the fullest and enjoy every
minute of it.

Investigator In Training.I was born on Camp LeJeune
and grew up in Jacksonville. I have a thirst for knowledge
that has fueled my search for answers to questions I had
about various experiences I have had through out life. I
have had a variety of paranormal experiences, starting
when I was around ten. Since then I have become
increasingly interested in everything about the
supernatural. I enjoy visiting places that are said to be
haunted and the feelings and general experience that
comes from coming across a spirit or feelings from an
event that happened. I like to watch scary movies, though
most don't scare me. I read... a lot... the subject varies as
long as it can catch my interest. I often tend to be very
quiet around new people and situations until I get to know
them, but once I open up I am a very friendly people
person and a lot of fun to spend time with.

Investigator . Well, a little about me. I'm happily married
and I'm a new mom! I'm very passionate about environmental
conservation. I'm also a horror movie geek. BIG horror movie
geek! I had my first paranormal experience when I was very
young. It left me with tons of unanswered questions. But in
my family there was "no such thing as ghosts", so i just
pushed the experience to the back of my mind. Later on in
my teens, I had another experience that once again left me
confused. I didn't know if I was just crazy or if suddenly i was
realizing that what i was taught to believe was missing a BIG
chunk about life after death. While in college, I took many
courses in theology and paranormal psychology at Duke
university. Hoping not only to increase my knowledge of the
paranormal and religious, but to also try and bridge this
huge gap between my experiences and what I've been
taught to believe. What really got me into investigating is that
I know there are tons of people in this world who are in the
same situation that i was in long ago. It's hard to forget
something that happens to you and if you feel like you don't
have anyone to talk to about it, it only makes you feel crazy
or worse, alone in the situation. I'm not easily spooked. And
even more so, I'm not easily fooled. I'm very level headed
and i approach every situation as a skeptic. I'm here to help
those who have no where to turn.Paranormal investigating is
something that I'm truly passionate about and it's taught me
so much in my own personal life.

Psychic Medium/Honorary Member/Radio Host- They refer
to me as a "Ghost Magnet". I am a native Bostonian. Since 4 yrs
old, I have been a clairvoyant, clairgustant and clairalient. My
childhood was molded by a Strega Witch who raised me, and she
insisted the family got me from the Gypsies. We laid in bed at
night in the dark listening to old broadcasts of "War Of The our
chins to make scarey faces until we both screamed! By age 7,
my mother threw a book of Edgar Cayce at me and told me to
read it. It was through Cayce's teachings that I would model the
rest of my life's work after - dedicated to help others. I am also
noted for my precognitive dreams, where I am ridden with visions
of crisis, death and disaster yet to come.
For 40 years, I have embraced learning and teaching about
parapsychology. I have worked as a psychic medium across the
globe indepently, and recently doing freelance investigations
with well established paranormal groups. I find it thrilling to
scientifically prove or disprove my gifts. I am drawn to the water,
particularly lighthouses. I love nothing more than having lunch in
a nice cemetery and visit with those who live beyond. It's the
living we should fear, not the deceased.
By age 13, my abilities made great development after the death
of my grandmother. She vowed to pass on her legacy of Strega
witchcraft, psychic readings and to boldly face the world of the
unknown. I began using paranormal tools: palmistry, playing
cards, dowsing rods and my favorite, Numerology. By 29, I was off
to California, where hit another plateau in my development.
Trained by Energy Healers from Mexico, I put my natural powers
to good use. There, I read for celebrities, worked on police
cases, to common families trying to reconnect with loved ones.
My philosophy: I believe in the unknown and all that is seen and
unseen. I watched a man walk on the moon, when once the
concept was nothing more than something out of a Buck Rogers
Film. Anything is possible! I strive to make you open your mind to
that beautiful possibility. I follow the words of Christ, Buddha,
Gandhi, Mother Teresa, The Beatles (all you need is love), and
the homeless guy I met on the corner this morning. We are all
here together with a common thread. WE are ENERGY; that
which cannot be destroyed, but can only take on another form.
So be nice to me, because even after we pass on, we may see
each other time and time again (smile).
My current goal is to somehow condence my vast years of
experience and deliver it to the public in a way that will reach the
masses. NOW is my time. I am in the process of finishing my
book on my personal experiences in the paranormal field
targeted to print within the year. Lights Out is my radio show,
which I use as a platform to promote my investigation tours, my
teachings, and my encouragement to all my wonderful friends
out there.

Investigator I'm originally from a small town in eastern
Ky but lived in Baton Rouge,La before moving here to
Jacksonville. My husband and i have been married for
nearly 11 years and he is a former United States
Marine. We have a beautiful daughter who is now 1 1/2
years old.My younger brother and three pets also reside
with us.I had my first paranormal experience at the age of
7 and then other encounters on and off throughout the
years. At first i was scared but then it became more and
more fascinating to me but i mostly kept it to myself. As i
got a little older i was taught that ghosts don't exist on the
earth, only demons and evil spirits do.Although i had
different thoughts about it,i set my feelings aside for a
long time. After moving here i once again had another
experience( and my husband) so i decided that there has
to be more to it than what we realize.Through
investigating,i hope to gain as much knowledge and
understanding as possible so that i may help others. As a
side note,I'm a very laid back.."go with the flow" type
person.I love meeting new people although i tend to be
shy at first till i get to know you. My hobbies are singing
and making crafts by hand and with my sewing machine.I
love entertainment and arts.Im a HUGE movie buff
especially horror and musicals.
More investigators still to be added, we thank you for your patience and please check back as we will be updating often. Thank you once again. S.E.P.I.A.

Investigator In Training My name is Shelli; I am 41,
married with two extraordinary children. I have worked for
Onslow County (NC) for the past seven years and
currently hold a part time position at a local non-profit
agency. Though I have also lived in California , Hawaii and
Virginia (my Mom is a gypsy) I consider myself a proud
Carolina Girl having spent the past 28 years here.
My best times are spent with family and friends. I love
fishing, football and listening to all types of music . I also
enjoy movies and reading. I had my first personal
paranormal experience as a young child and it was
extremely frightening for me and everyone close to me. I
was blessed, however with a beautiful open minded mother
who never doubted or belittled me. I feel very fortunate to
be a part of this team and hope to help bring some
understanding for myself and those who may be scared,
bewildered or just annoyed by experiences they are
having.

From a very young age, I was able to see in to a world that
most do not get to see. I am a Sensitive/Empath. Which
means I can sense, taste, smell, hear, feel, and sometimes
see beyond our plane of existence. As I have grown, my
abilities have grown stronger. I just wish I would have known
all of this when I was younger. I grew up being a very
skeptical little girl; even know I had these gifts. I just thought
I was a odd duck. At the age of 28 I went and seen a
Medium. I was trying to get in contact with my Mother whom
I lost at the age of 21 to cancer. From that day on, I was a
changed person. I was guided by this individual to use this
girt I was given to help others. Therefore, that is what I
have set out to do. I dove into any books I could to educate
myself on these subjects. I read until my eyes were crossed
and my brain felt like it was going to explode.
Through that journey of educating, I grew an interest in the
Paranormal. I wanted to see for myself how I could use
these gifts and to prove to others that life does exist after
death. I started on my own going to cemeteries and
abandoned buildings with some friends, from that point on I
was hooked. I researched and found a local group to go out
on Investigations with and that is when I discovered that this
was my passion in life. To see the relief and the look of
happiness on the client’s faces for helping them when they
had no one else to turn to was pure fulfillment for me. I
have been doing the Investigating now for going on 4 years
and will probably never quit doing it. I just do not see myself
doing anything else but helping people in need.
Now, I am currently an Independent Investigator looking to
start up my own group by the end of the year. I am also in
the process of getting my Bachelors Degree in Psychology,
and to looking to pursue a career in Family/Greif and
Substance Abuse Counseling. I would like to put my
knowledge of all of this in to Investigating as well. I believe
that many paranormal events can occur through the
thought process. And, really isn’t a paranormal event
occurring at all. Within the year, I will also be re-locating to
the Boston Area to join partnership with my dear friend
Robyne in a business. I think the combination of us we can
really educate people on this subject and help many others
who are confused & scared.
